Brand-new, rebuild from the ground up version of the meditation app ‘Oak’.
I was using the original version of Oak as a meditation app, and a few friends and I took a long-shot and reached out to Oak because we had a few suggestions about how it could be improved.
Initial kickoff call & remote expert interview.
We managed this all remotely by using RealtimeBoard — we created virtual post-it notes and filled them in on the board.
Creating the goal & Sprint questions.
Creating the map and Lightning Demos.
We knew from speaking with the client that they were inspired by Japanese design so I found things like Japanese stationary, interiors, and products.
Creating the first concepts.
Voting on the concepts.
Prototyping, first feedback from client, alignment, and creating the screens.
We found the color scheme early on in our designs but changed the structure of the screens constantly.
Handover to developer.
